Chapter 17-Sassy Silver Scored Big & Chapter 18-The Foxes and the Silvers: One Big, Unhappy Family

Parents day was a week away and Sasha was ready. She missed her family so much. In Film class the next day, she was talking to Jacob and he asked her if she wanted to go out for ice cream. She accepted the invitation and off they went! Sasha ended up ordering Mint Chocolate Chip with Caramel sauce (that's Canterwood's School Colors!). After the date Sasha went right back to her dorm to tell Paige all about it!

That week raced by very quickly! Now it was Parents Day! Sasha was showing her parents around the barn when she found Charm's stall but it was empty! Sasha raced all over and then found Heather and Charm in a stall all the way across the barn! Heather had moved him to trick Sasha! Sasha went and told Mr. Conner and right as she was telling him Heather's parents were already in the room! So they heard too! Heather was called into the office and she said that it was just a little trick she plays on all of the new girls when they come. What a lie. Sasha just let it go because she knew that Mr. Conner wouldn't believe her. Later before they were meeting Paige's family for dinner, she confessed that Heather has been bugging her this whole time! She told them to not do anything! She wasn't going to let Heather stop her!

Chapter 15-Charm Gets a New 'Do & Chapter 16- Two Blue Ribbons, Four Girls, and Some Serious Attitude

It was the day of the competition and everyone was loading up their trailers and getting ready to leave Canterwood. They were loading their horses into the trailers and Sasha's horse had to go in a trailer with Heather's. Once they got to the performing arena Sasha went to take her horse and Charm's mane was gone! Heather's horse had bitten it and ripped it all off! Sasha didn't have a lot of time to fix it so she quickly braided what was left and left to go to the arena. She and Charm did perfectly in their division! Hopefully that would give her a blue ribbon.

At the awards ceremony Sasha was up against two other people, Alex and Julia. The winner ended up being Julia. Sasha was very upset that she didn't win but she knew she would try harder and maybe win next time!

Chapter 13-The New Sasha & Chapter 14-Jacob Loves...Cotton Candy

Sasha was on her weekend brake and she was at home. While back in her home town, she wanted to visit her old riding school Briar Creek. While she was there she met with her old instructor Kim. Sasha had loved it there, but Kim had told her that she was ready for bigger and better things! After chatting a while longer Sasha left knowing that Kim was right. This was her chance to shine!

On Monday after Sasha got back from the break, she was in Film Class. They were assigned to watch a movie and write a response paper. Sasha and Jacob were both assigned the Titanic. They made a plan to help with each other's papers!

Chapter 12- I Don't Want Your Stupid Sweatshirt

It was Saturday and Sasha and Heather were cleaning out the stalls. They got into a little fight. Heather asked why Sasha even came here. Heather was under a lot of pressure because of her parents expectations and she really could not use not making the advanced team. Sasha told her that she was the best at her old school and that she wasn't leaving. Then Mr. Conner walked in and interrupted the conversation. They got back to cleaning and then Sasha had a mishap with the hose and sprayed water all over Heather! Heather was super mad and Sasha offered up her sweatshirt, Heather rejected her offer and left. Sasha laughed because she new Heather was mad. She called Paige immediately to tell her all the details!

Chapter 11-He Smelled My Lip Gloss

After that adventure, Sasha had her first film class. When she got into the class she got excited. There were video games, computers, and a big room with chairs and a large television screen. She sat down and started writing down the things on the board. Then someone sat down next to her. It was Jacob! Whenever Sasha gets nervous, she uses her lip gloss. She put on S'mores smelling gloss. Jacob asked what that smell was. Sasha was really hoping what he was smelling wasn't horse. He told her it smelled like chocolate. Phew! She took out her lip gloss and showed him what it was. They laughed and then the teacher started talking. He introduced himself as Mr. Ramirez the 7th grade Film teacher. And then went straight into watching a movie. In the end they discussed it and Sasha was very happy she chose that class.

When Sasha got back to the room she told Paige everything that happened. They went straight online to look for lip gloss scents boys would like. She didn't buy many, but she did buy some.

Chapter 10- Who's Afraid of a Little Friendly Competition?

Sasha and Charm were in the arena practicing their jumps when Heather and her horse came in. Heather was jumping and ignoring Sasha. Heather was going so quickly that she ran into Charm and Sasha. When Mr. Conner saw what happened he wasn't very pleased. When he asked what had happened Heather blamed it all on Sasha. Sasha wasn't one to complain so she just left it. They were assigned to muck out horse stalls together on Saturday morning. After the horses were put away and locked up, Callie offered to take Sasha out for smoothies. Sasha had come to the conclusion that no one could ever possibly scare her into leaving.

Chapter 9-F is for Friday

It was the Friday of Sasha's first week of school, and she was relieved that she made it. Sasha needed to pick an elective so she was waiting for Ms. Utz (the counselor). as she was sitting in the waiting room someone sat down next to her. It turns out it was the cute boy she saw earlier. He introduced himself as Jacob and he was there to fix a mess up on his schedule. They talked for a little while and then Sasha was called in. She picked Film as her elective. She thought that if she liked movies that she would like the class.

After leaving the office she was late for riding practice. Mr. Conner said that his policy for being late was that everyone would have to do everything on their feet. Everyone was mad at her, except Callie. Then they worked on strengthening the horses sides. They worked on that and Mr. Conner said that Charm was perfectly balanced.
