Chapter 8- Trail Riding and Daydreaming

That day, Sasha was riding the trail with Callie and they started talking. Callie was explaining all they looked for in people with potential. They talked mostly about grades. You had to have a B average or you were not allowed on intermediate. Sasha was very worried because of the F she got on her test. Then the subject of Heather came on. Heather was a very good rider and got very good grades so she would probably get on intermediate, but neither of them ever knew why she was so mean. It was a problem for both of them. Callie was one of the best riders Sasha had ever met, and if Callie thought Sasha was good then maybe she really had a chance.

Chapter 7-Beginner's Luck

On Monday morning Sasha was going to her first class. Sasha had been spooked when someone called her name. Luckily it was Callie and not Heather. Callie had asked if she wanted to ride a trail after their classes. Sasha accepted her offer and sat down at her desk. The teacher introduced himself as Mr. Davidson the English teacher. They started reading and Sasha volunteered to read first. After reading Callie passed her a note saying Good Job.

At the end of class Sasha and Callie disused what classes they had next and split up. In the next class as Sasha was sitting down she saw Julia and Alison walk through the door. The teacher walked in right after them and introduced herself as Ms. Peterson the Biology teacher. Immediately they started a pop quiz.

Back at her dorm she was very upset because she failed her pop quiz. Her mother called and they talked about their day, and then Sasha went over to the barn. When she got there Callie told her to watch out because she saw Heather snooping around in Sasha's stuff. Then Callie left and Sasha heard voices. The voices led to the tack room and she discovered that the voices belonged to Heather, Julia, and Alison. Then the girls caught Sasha spying and they told her it was just beginner's luck that got her onto Intermediate and that she better watch out. Sasha new that nothing could stop her. Not even a little girl, just trying to mess her up.

Chapter 6-Perfect Payback

Sasha was sitting on top of Charm running through all of the tips she got from Callie. She was very nervous. Heather and the two other girls were watching her very carefully glowering at her every move. When she was done she went to Mr. Conner and he said she did a good job and that if she was willing to practice everyday she is put in the intermediate group. Yes! She looked at the mean group of girls Heather, Julia, and Alison, and grinned to show off the ranking she had just gotten.
After she put Charm back into the stall she called her parents to share the good news. At the dorm Paige was gone and Sasha was starving. So she went to the cafeteria alone, and sat with Livvie. On the way out she saw a cute boy. She was too nervous to talk just then, but she told herself she would another time.

Chapter 5-Sorry, Wrong Way

The next morning Sasha was at the barn waiting for Heather, but there was no sight of her. So Sasha left to get to the meeting. When she got to the location she was told the meeting was at, there was a sign posted on the door that said the location was moved. Sasha left for the other location and no one was there. She went back to the other place to see if she had been sent to the wrong place, and everyone was there in the original meeting place and the sign was gone. Mr. Conner was very upset, but let her off with a warning. Sasha wondered if this was payback for the horse incident. Mr. Conner told her what she missed. Next time you meet it will just be with the people in the same level as her. Sasha was upset because Mr. Conner would think she could never handle the pressure of riding. She started talking to a girl named Callie. she explained what Mr. Conner was harsh on and what he expected. And then it was time for the test.

Chapter 4- Part of a Family

The next day Sasha and Paige went to the cafeteria for breakfast. Paige guided Sasha to the table and introduced her to three girls. Their names were Annabella, Kristen, and Suichin. They all sat down and talked about riding, then Sasha left to go groom her horse in the barn. In the barn she ran into Heather and two other girls. Heather insisted that she give Sasha a few "tips" before her test tomorrow. The test would tell if you were in the beginner, intermediate, or advanced riding group. Sasha thought that Heather was trying to be nice, so she agreed to meet for tips tomorrow. Sasha now thought she was part of a family. Big mistake.

Chapter 3-Hot Boy Posters and Mac 'N' Cheese

Paige Parker, Sasha's roommate arrived a little bit later. Paige loved to cook and offered to teach Sasha a few dishes. They found out they were both in love with celebrity Hunter Miller from Southampton Socialites. Sasha had brought a poster of him and they put it up immediately. They started talking about riding. Paige told Sasha that apparently Mr. Conner is very harsh on his riders.Paige wanted to be a chef so she offered to make them dinner. After dinner Sasha had realized that she had gotten assigned the perfect roommate.

Chapter 2-Winchester A. Butkis Hall

Sasha's room was located int Winchester A. Butkis Hall. While trying to find her room she ran into the dorm advisor Livvie Davis. When she arrived to her room Livvie explained just what the rules are. No boys are ever allowed and there is a requirement of 30 minutes of studying each day. The amount of time will be recorded and turned in ever Sunday. After Livvie and Sasha's parents left, all Sasha could do was pray that things wouldn't get worse than the already were.

Chapter 1-Our Fantabulous Entrance. Not.

Sasha Silver has moved to a new school that focuses on horseback riding, with her horse Charm. The school is called Canterwood Crest. She transferred from Briar Creek and is very nervous to start at this new place. When she and Charm walked in to the stables, Charm got scared and ran off. He ran to the riding ring and frightened another horse. The other horse knocked off its rider and she got hurt. The girl's name was Heather, she was very high maintenance and did not like Sasha. Mr. Conner, the riding instructor was not very impressed with what had happened with Sasha's horse. Sasha didn't make a very good first impression, but she was ready to get back up and see what this school has to offer.
